Our return and warranty policies depend on what you purchased and the service performed. Here you can review the applicable return requirements, repair coverage, exclusions, and what to do if something isn’t working as expected.
We’ll explain what applies to your purchase or repair before you make a decision.
Our return policy applies to eligible products purchased from Computer Warriors. It does not apply to completed repair services. Return eligibility begins on the date you receive the product.
Eligible purchases may be returned or exchanged within 14 days of receipt. The item must be physically returned to a Computer Warriors store within that 14-day period.
Returned products must be in the same condition in which they were sold and include the original accessories. When a product was supplied with retail packaging, that packaging must also be returned.
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method.
Eligible returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee, plus any applicable tax on that fee.
Eligible New and Certified Refurbished devices may be returned within 14 days in the same condition, with their original accessories and packaging when applicable. Approved returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee. After the return period, eligible defects are handled under the applicable one-year sales warranty rather than the return policy.
Some purchases cannot be returned because they were customized, specially ordered, activated, delivered digitally, damaged after purchase, or clearly sold as final. We will explain any nonreturnable condition before the applicable purchase or order is completed. This includes custom-built computers made to your specifications; products clearly marked “Final Sale”; activated or delivered digital products and subscriptions, including software, security products, and subscription licenses; products that have been physically damaged, liquid damaged, misused, materially altered, or returned in a condition different from when sold; and special-order repair parts once ordered.
Deposits for special-order repair parts are nonrefundable once the part has been ordered. Before ordering the part, we will explain the deposit requirement and confirm that you want us to proceed.
The product-return policy does not apply to completed repair services. If you believe the original problem was not resolved or an installed part may be defective, contact the store that performed the repair. We will inspect the device and determine whether the concern is related to the original service, covered by the applicable service warranty, or caused by a separate issue.
Coverage is specific to the service performed or the product purchased. Here’s what applies, by category.
Standard phone and eligible tablet screen repairs carry lifetime defect coverage for as long as the original customer owns the original device, plus one free screen repair within 12 months (one use). A basic in-store screen option carries a 14-day installed-part defect warranty. A Genuine Apple Display carries lifetime defect coverage, and choosing it doesn’t imply any Apple authorization on our part.
All replacement batteries carry a one-year warranty on the installed battery and labor. Normal battery aging and unrelated charging issues aren’t covered.
Computer and Mac hardware repairs carry a one-year warranty on the installed hardware and labor. Physical damage, liquid damage, and unrelated failures aren’t covered. Software services don’t carry an ongoing warranty; we confirm the issue is addressed at pickup.
Game-console repairs carry a one-year warranty on the installed part, the repaired area, workmanship, and labor, including HDMI and board-level work.
Liquid-damage work carries no general warranty; if a specific replaced part is warranted, we state that on your invoice. Data recovery carries no warranty and no guaranteed outcome; results depend on the media and the failure.
New and Certified Refurbished devices we sell carry a one-year warranty against defects, with a 14-day return in the same condition subject to a 15% restocking fee. That’s separate from our repair-service coverage and isn’t a manufacturer warranty.
Custom-built computers include a one-year warranty against eligible hardware defects in the parts and labor supplied by Computer Warriors. Coverage excludes physical damage, liquid damage, misuse, software problems, normal wear, and unrelated failures. Because they’re assembled to your specifications, they’re nonreturnable once the order has been completed.
Eligible accessories sold by Computer Warriors carry a lifetime warranty against defects. Eligible screen protectors include lifetime replacements for the original customer and original device. Coverage does not transfer to another customer or device and remains subject to inspection and reasonable product availability.
Manufacturer warranty terms vary by company, product, repair, and claim. Before making a decision, review the manufacturer’s current warranty terms or contact the manufacturer directly. We can explain our repair options and our own warranty, but we cannot determine how a manufacturer will handle a future claim.
Warranty coverage depends on the purchase or service performed and generally applies only to the installed part, repaired area, supplied product, and associated labor described by the applicable warranty. There’s no universal lifetime warranty covering everything, and an installed-part warranty is not a warranty on the entire device. Physical damage, liquid damage, misuse, unrelated failures, and unauthorized alterations are excluded unless explicitly stated otherwise. Repairability, data recovery, turnaround, and part availability aren’t guaranteed; inspection may be required before coverage is approved, and proof of purchase or the original repair record may be required. “Lifetime” means as long as the original customer owns the original device; it doesn’t transfer, it ends if the device is sold or given away, and it remains subject to inspection and reasonable part availability.
No. Coverage is specific to the service: phone and tablet screens, batteries, computer hardware, consoles, liquid damage, and data recovery each have their own terms. We’ll tell you what applies to your repair.
For eligible phone and tablet screens and other eligible components, lifetime defect coverage lasts as long as the original customer owns the original device. It ends if the device is sold or given away and is subject to inspection and reasonable part availability.
No. Data recovery carries no warranty and no guaranteed outcome; results depend on the media and the type of failure. We give you a free initial estimate before any work.
Manufacturer warranty terms vary by company, product, repair, and claim. Before deciding, review the manufacturer’s current warranty terms or contact the manufacturer directly. We can explain our repair options and our own warranty, but we can’t determine how a manufacturer will handle a future claim.
