From setting up Wi-Fi and wired networks to installing and managing firewalls, running cabling, and setting up business cameras, we build small-business networks that are reliable and sensibly secured. We scope and quote the work up front, and we’re honest about what will help and what it costs.
Technicians certified in CompTIA A+, Network+, and Microsoft 365 · Scoped and quoted honestly
An office network often grows one device at a time. Another access point is added, a switch is replaced, cameras are connected, and no one is quite sure whether the firewall or cabling still fits the way the business operates. The result may be unreliable connections, inconsistent coverage, recurring interruptions, or uncertainty about how well the network is protected.
Wi-Fi or wired connections are unreliable in parts of the office
The existing router, switches, firewall, or cabling may no longer fit the business
No one has a clear picture of how the network, cameras, and security layers work together
A well-planned network brings those pieces together, gives each one a clear purpose, and makes the remaining limitations visible before work begins.
We design, install, upgrade, and troubleshoot the network components appropriate to the agreed scope. The exact combination depends on the space, internet service, equipment, number of users, and how the business needs to work.
Wi-Fi and wired connections planned around the office layout, supported devices, coverage needs, and realistic performance expectations.
Routers and switches selected, configured, or upgraded to help supported devices communicate reliably and keep the network organized.
Firewall setup and ongoing management that add an important security layer and help keep supported protection current.
Ethernet and other approved low-voltage cabling installed within our scope to connect work areas, network equipment, cameras, and other supported devices.
Business-camera and network-camera setup and support, including appropriate network connectivity and configuration.
Performance and coverage depend on the space, equipment, interference, internet provider, and approved scope. We explain what improvements are realistic, but we do not promise a specific speed, perfect coverage, uninterrupted service, or complete security.
A managed firewall is a sensible layer for a small business. We configure it for the approved environment and can keep supported protection current through ongoing service. It can reduce risk and improve control over network traffic, but it cannot guarantee that an attack, breach, malware infection, or other security incident will never occur.
Firewalls work best alongside endpoint protection, patching, account security, backup, and the other appropriate layers described on our Cybersecurity page.
Layers work together; no single one is a guarantee.
We run Ethernet and other approved low-voltage cabling within the agreed project scope. We do not perform electrical work. We confirm the layout, access, materials, and labor involved before the project begins.
We set up and support business and network cameras within the approved scope. This is camera and network setup, not security-system monitoring, alarm monitoring, or alarm licensing.
If part of the requested work requires an electrician, alarm company, license, permit, or service outside our scope, we’ll explain that before work begins.
Networking work is usually handled as a scoped project. We understand the environment first, recommend the appropriate work, and give you the opportunity to review the price before anything chargeable begins.
We discuss the office, users, devices, internet service, existing equipment, coverage concerns, cabling needs, camera requirements, and what is not working as expected.
We explain the recommended equipment and work, what each part is intended to improve, what remains outside the scope, and whether onsite or eligible remote work is appropriate.
You receive a project quote before chargeable work begins. Hardware, cabling materials, cameras, and any third-party licensing are stated separately from our labor.
Submitting an inquiry begins the conversation. It does not authorize an assessment, site visit, equipment purchase, installation, licensing, configuration, or any other chargeable work.
For a new network, upgrade, cabling installation, firewall deployment, camera setup, or defined troubleshooting need, we scope and quote the work as a project.
If you want continued help maintaining and supporting the network afterward, eligible ongoing support can be included through a Small Business IT Support plan.
Computer Warriors supports small businesses from our Wilmington and Jacksonville locations. Onsite networking projects are available in eligible parts of Eastern North Carolina, and remote help may be available for eligible configuration issues where appropriate. Camp Lejeune customers are routed through Jacksonville for appropriate supported options, but onsite networking visits are not available on Camp Lejeune.
Yes: office Wi-Fi, wired networks, routers, switches, and firewalls, scoped and quoted up front. We’ll tell you honestly what will improve performance; we can’t guarantee a specific speed or perfect coverage.
Yes, we set up managed firewalls and keep them current as part of your network. A firewall reduces risk as one layer of protection; it doesn’t guarantee nothing gets through.
We run Ethernet and low-voltage cabling within our approved scope. We don’t do electrical work. We’ll confirm what’s involved and quote it before starting.
Yes, we set up and support business and network cameras. That’s setup and support, not security-system monitoring or alarm licensing.
Usually as a project: we scope it and give you a project quote, with hardware and any licensing stated separately. Nothing chargeable starts until you approve the quote.
Yes. Ongoing network support folds into a Small Business IT Support plan if you want continuous coverage.
