DEVICE REPAIR

Not sure what kind of repair you need? Start with the device.

You don’t have to diagnose it yourself. Pick your device and we’ll point you to the right service, explain your options and timing, and tell you what’s covered before any work begins. Computer Warriors repairs phones, computers, Macs, tablets, and game consoles, plus data recovery and board-level microsoldering, at both our Wilmington and Jacksonville stores.

What kind of device do you need repaired?

Pick your device below. Not sure where your problem fits? Call your nearest store and we’ll point you the right way. It’s guidance, not a diagnosis.

Phone Repair

iPhone, Samsung, Google Pixel, Motorola, and OnePlus: cracked screens, batteries, charging ports, and back glass. Many in-stock phone repairs are done in about 30–45 minutes.

Computer Repair

Windows laptops, desktops, gaming PCs, and all-in-ones: slow performance, startup failures, virus and malware removal, and hardware. Drop-off reserves your check-in time.

Mac & MacBook Repair

MacBook, iMac, Mac mini, Studio, and Pro, diagnosed and repaired at both stores.

iPad & Tablet Repair

Supported iPads and Samsung tablets: screens, batteries, and charging. We’ll tell you honestly when a repair is worth it.

Game Console Repair

PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and Steam Deck: HDMI/no-picture (including PS5 and Xbox HDMI), charging, power, and cooling, plus board-level repairs. We don’t repair standalone controllers.

Data Recovery

Computers, drives, SSDs, and phones. Free initial estimate, in person only, no mail-in. Recovery is never guaranteed, and we’ll tell you the truth.

Liquid Damage Repair

Spilled on your device? Don’t charge it or power it on. Call first or bring it in for an evaluation.

Board-Level & Microsoldering

Component-level repairs many shops send away: HDMI ports, power ICs, and more on selected supported devices after evaluation.

However you reach us, the process is the same

1

You describe the problem and how you use the device.

2

We evaluate and explain your options with clear pricing and honest timing.

3

You decide. No work begins without your approval.

Many phone and tablet repairs carry a lifetime defect warranty for the original device; batteries are 1 year; computer and console hardware is 1 year. Data-recovery and liquid work aren’t guaranteed. Each service page states exactly what applies.

Get a Repair Quote for defined phone repairs; an appointment reserves actual repair time once your model and part are confirmed in stock. Computers, Macs, tablets, and consoles use a drop-off that reserves your check-in time, not immediate bench time. Data recovery and liquid damage are call-first.

Why people trust us with their devices

More than 3,000 companywide customer reviews across our two stores. You get honest repair-versus-replace guidance, category-specific warranties explained up front, and board-level capability most shops send away. No work begins without your approval.

Common questions

We don’t repair Apple Watches, TVs, standalone monitors or cameras, vintage or off-brand consoles, gaming controllers, most Microsoft Surface models, or unsupported phone brands. We’ll always suggest a sensible alternative, like replacement or Buy/Sell/Trade where it fits.

We also do not repair printer hardware; for printer setup and problems at home, see Residential Support.

A quote gives you pricing for a defined repair. A drop-off reserves your check-in time so a technician can diagnose the device. It’s not immediate bench time.

Sometimes. Data recovery is a separate, call-first service with a free initial estimate. Recovery is never guaranteed, and we’ll be honest about what’s possible.

Many in-stock phone repairs take about 30–45 minutes. For computers, Macs, tablets, and consoles, it’s typically about 2–3 business days before your device reaches a technician’s bench — that’s the queue time, not the total repair time, and we confirm expected timing at check-in.

For computers, Macs, and game consoles, a $50 diagnostic deposit applies at check-in and goes toward your repair if you proceed. For tablets, the deposit applies only when we can’t adequately test the device at check-in. Phone repairs are confirmed — model, option, price, and timing — before any work begins.

You will get text updates as your repair moves through the process, and when a quote is ready you will receive a text with a link to view and approve it online. Need an answer right now? Call your store with your ticket number and we will tell you exactly where your device is.
