If you found something awesome on your phone and want to share it, the best way to share it might be a screenshot. Taking a screenshot will capture anything that is on your phone’s screen. They are great for sending pictures on the internet, having records of text conversations, or other uses. In today’s post, we will go over the ways to take screenshots on different devices.

Android Devices

Firstly, if you have an older Android device with a physical home button, press and hold the power button and the home button. If you have a newer Android device with no home button, the process is a little different. Press the power button and the volume down button. Lastly, on the Google Pixels and other enabled devices say ‘Okay Google, take a screenshot. It will take a screenshot of what is under the Google command screen.

Apple Devices

To begin, if you have the iPhone X or newer the process for the taking a screenshot is similar to the newer Android devices. Press the lock and volume up to capture the screen. Apple devices that have a home button use the lock and home button combination. If you have the AssistiveTouch turned on, you will also be able to take a screenshot. To begin, tap on the greyed-out circle. Next, select the Device option. Under the Device menu, there will be a Screenshot option, which will capture everything under the AssistiveTouch menu.
