Auto-correct is a create feature to help make sure our text messages are understandable and not filled with bad spelling or grammar. However, Auto-correct sometimes corrects things that don’t need to be corrected. Here’s how you turn it off on Apple devices.

Disabling Auto-Correction

First, head over to your Settings app (the one with the cogs in it). Next, scroll through the menu until you see General. Following this, scroll until you see Keyboard. Once you’re in the Keyboard menu, toggle the Auto-Correction feature off. Apple also gives you the ability to disable Auto-Capitalization, spell checking, and cap locks.
